Trigger Points Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy is a specialized massage technique designed to relieve muscular pain and dysfunction caused by tight, overactive muscle fibers—commonly known as trigger points or “muscle knots.” These localized areas of tension can refer pain to other parts of the body, contributing to chronic discomfort, limited range of motion, and postural imbalances.
During this session, focused and sustained pressure is applied to specific trigger points within the muscle tissue. The technique encourages the muscle to release, improves circulation, and supports the body’s natural recovery process. Pressure is always adjusted to the client’s comfort level and combined with slow, controlled techniques to avoid unnecessary strain.
Trigger Point Therapy is especially beneficial for:
-
Chronic muscle tension and stiffness
-
Neck, shoulder, and lower back discomfort
-
Headache-related muscle tension
-
Sports-related muscle overuse
-
Restricted mobility and postural stress
This therapy is ideal for clients seeking targeted relief rather than full-body relaxation. While sensations may feel intense at times, the goal is therapeutic release—not pain. Sessions are performed within the scope of massage therapy and are not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
